Godalming progressed through to the Quarter Finals of the Surrey Senior Cup, after a 6-0 victory over Sussex League side Dorking Wanderers.
Scott Harris headed the Gs into the lead from close range after only two minutes, and Godalming doubled that lead on 30 minutes when George Short stooped to head in from an in-swinging corner. Johnnie Dyer lobbed the ball over the onrushing keeper minutes into the second half to make it 3-0, after an excellent ball from Brett Cooper. Antonio Simeone added a fourth with a low free-kick, taking a slight deflection on the way. Scott Harris then bagged his second of the night with a looping header, before he set up Warren Harris for the sixth to complete the rout.
Godalming will be at home in the next round, to either Woking or Farnham Town, who are due to play next Tuesday.
