Godalming were eliminated from the Ryman League Cup after losing 4-2 on penalties to Dulwich Hamlet. Junior Kadi gave Dulwich the lead in the first half, after he converted from a rebound. Dan Read came close, but his shot rebounded back off the post. Gavin Smith headed the Gs level from a Darren Wheeler corner, and Wheeler provided again when Smith finished well after his through ball. Hamlet hit back instantly through Adeyini, and the game went straight to penalties.
Wheeler missed the first penalty for Godalming, with his shot rebounding off the inside of the post. Dulwich converted their’s, and Wes Harrison scored for the Gs. George Short had his well saved by James Tedder after Dulwich had converted their second, and Mu Mann chipped in their third. Gav Smith found the corner with his, but it was not enough as Dulwich scored their fourth penalty.
