Godalming Town 0-1 Horsham

Godalming lost 1-0 to Ryman South side Horsham after a second half goal from Jamie Cade. The Gs were without captain Richard Taylor, Adam Everiss, Jack Broome and Dan Read.

An even first half saw Justin Courtnage save well early on for the Gs, whilst Mark Watkins was denied by a good save by the Horsham keeper. Substitute Paul Coventry nearly put Godalming ahead in the second half, but his lob dropped narrowly wide of the post. Horsham struck minutes later, with Jamie Cade finishing a Billy Dunn cross. Coventry went close again for Godalming with a close range effort, whilst Horsham saw a shot rebound back off the post.

Godalming travel to Southern Central side Egham Town on Tuesday, before travelling to Uxbridge on Thursday. The final friendly is at Wey Court on Saturday, where we host Chertsey Town.
