A top of the table clash at Wey Court produced an enthralling match with chances for both sides, but was decided by a second half Jamie McClurg header.
The visitors had a golden chance to take an early lead, but a poor touch from the Waders forward saw the ball go wide from only a couple of yards. Craig Daniel then had another chance for the visitors, but his sliding effort at the far post went narrowly wide. Godalming started to grow as the half drew on, and pressured the visitors from a number of corners. Scott Harris fired a looping volley narrowly over, whilst Johnnie Dyer had the Gs best chance of the half, but miscued his far post header wide.
Godalming came out strongly in the second half, and peppered the Biggleswade goal with shots. Johnnie Dyer went close twice with headers, and then a one on one which bobbled agonisingly past the post. Jamie McClurg fizzed an effort just the wrong side of the post, before he finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute. Warren Harris whipped a curling cross, which McClurg burst onto to headed past Michael Mcentegart. A nervy final 15 minutes, including 7 minutes of injury time followed, but the Gs held on for a well earned three points.
