Wessex Premier side Moneyfields forced a replay at a wet Wey Court on Saturday, after they led at half time. Godalming had most of the early possesion, but failed to really test David Hook in the Moneyfields goal. Hook was called into action when he saved a header from Smith, and managed to scoop it over the bar. Rob Evans gave Moneyfields the lead, as he finished well past the oncoming Jamie Norris. Godalming equalised after 57 minutes, when Gavin Smith met Darren Wheeler’s cross with his head and the ball found the bottom corner. Wheeler hit the post for Godalming soon after, as his looping cross beat Hook, but cannoned of the inside of the post.
Godalming will now travel to Moneyfields on Tuesday night for the replay.
