Seven minutes later Godalming doubled their lead when in form striker Scott Harris volleyed home from outside the box. Worcester came close when Lee Smith’s effort was saved by Jamie Norris, and McGregor’s effort hit the crossbar. Godalming could have increased their lead before halftime but Brett Cooper’s effort was well blocked by the Worcester defender.
Worcester came out strongly in the second half, but failed to attack with any real conviction. Jamie Norris made a fine save from a powerful effort, but from the resulting corner Worcester pulled a goal back in the 90th minute when Luke Corbett struck.
