Godalming lost out 3-2 to Evesham in a close encounter at Wey Court. The visitors took the lead after only 7 minutes, when Carl Brown finished low past Zaki Oualah. An uneventful has ensued, with Godalming’s best chance coming when George Bowerman was denied by a late tackle when clean through.

James Vercesi doubled the visitors lead on 56 minutes when he headed home from a corner. Godalming replied when Graeme Purdy converted a penalty after Nick Hutchings was fouled in the penalty area. Evesham replied instantly when James Vercesi grabbed his second goal when headed home from a set piece. Jon Palmer reduced the deficit soon after when his glancing header from a corner snuck inside the post, but Evesham held out for a valuable three points going into a busy Christmas period.
