Sandhurst 0-7 Godalming Town

An impressive performance from the Gs in their second game of pre-season saw them run out 7-0 winners against Combined Counties Premier side Sandhurst.

Sandhurst, who fielded two different teams in each half, were 1-0 down in the opening minutes via a Johnny Dyer lob. Despite having the majority of the play, Godalming failed to add to the scoreline in the first half. They did however have their shooting boots on in the second half. Scott Harris put the Gs 2-0 up, and then Harris made it 3 soon after when Sean Latimer set up Harris for a simple finish. Debutant Jack Broome made it 4 with a low free kick which found the bottom corner of the net. Jon Palmer added a fifth, and Darren Wheeler grabbed a quick brace to make it 7.

Godalming return to Wey Court in their next friendly, where Ryman Premier side Metropolitan Police are the visitors. Kick off 7.45pm.
