Let there be Light
14 March 2025
Chairman’s statement – To all members, supporters, fund raisers, and friends of Godalming Town Football Club I am delighted to announce that the floodlights at Wey Court have been upgraded and are now fully operational.
My heartfelt thanks go to all the people that made this possible. To those who helped to raise funds and to the many people who donated to the cause.
A special mention goes to our Facilities Manager John Neylon, without whom this project would not have succeeded. His diligence, patience, and attention to detail in his dealings with suppliers, the council, and other interested parties was off the scale.
The lights will be switched on in anger for the first time at our home match this Saturday. The kick off is 3.00pm. I hope to see many of you there.
